Another lifestyle concept store we love is 'Love adorned' in New York, beautiful interior, lovely ethos...

Love Adorned – a lifestyle concept store from New York Adorned’s Lori Leven – expands beyond fine jewelry to include smart tools for home, body and travel. The shop’s lovingly curated inventory addresses the shift away from ‘throw away culture’ with lasting solutions that bring ease and preserve beauty in our busy lives. For where strength exists in design and simplicity, it also is expressed through craftsmanship and quality; all key elements in the shop’s offerings.

Love Adorned often looks to its well traveled and visionary friends to learn about their time tested, sometimes obscure acquisitions or remedies that they love. Every new discovery feels like a piece to the puzzle, whether it makes the body cleaner or the mind clearer.  Building on seasonal themes, the store opened December 2010 with an initial exploration of things cherished and celebrated, collected both from years of searching and growing fascinations. Treasured objects are the things that remind us of the path we carve though the world, and of milestones in our lives. Wolf & Gypsy

Shop:One of our favourite vintage shops when we visit  Brighton is Wolf and Gypsy, they have the best selection of hand picked vintage in town for everyday work wear trousers and overalls, silk shirts, pajama jackets, tweeds, minis and cool dresses, we always find something we can't do without, this time it was a stripy  blue and white all in one mens bather!

Globe Shopping...Bungalow 8 Mumbai

Antiques and Boutiques love a good lifetyle store, and Bungalow 8 just outside of Mumbai is one of our favourites. We visited it a few years back when we took a trip to India for a few months and wanted to bring the whole store back in our satchels! Set up in 2003 in a historic 3 storey building in the Colaba area, it features antique floors, carved wooden doors and high ceilings. With everything from crockery to antique cupboards, textiles, bed linens, unique pieces, both modern and vintage, the owner Maithili Ahluwalia has found pieces made by the best craftsmen from all over India. The top floor is dedicated to fashion and there is an exclusive jewellery range from by French designer Mattieu Leguillan who has worked for YSL and Lanvin, so luckily we found some things that we could bring home!

Wedding Style

What we Love: These incredible wedding dresses by designer Jane Bourvis, created in her Atelier in Notting Hill, all the pieces are created from Vintage and Antique gowns reworked from Edwardian, Victorian to 20s gowns, incorporating delicate textiles and fine laces. They are of course all unique, custom made, and handcrafted, we couldn't love them more!

last night we went to the opening of our favorite vintage shop, Paris Vintage, which has relocated to a beautiful Modernista apartment in the Eixample, a great backdrop for the chicest vintage collection in town!

Shoes

Gent. Suarez. are a Barcelona-Berlin design duo who created their label in 2007 having both been apprentices of master Spanish cobblers. Their shoes have a beautiful hand made quality to them, the new Born based shop also sells bags and a small selection of hand made jewelery.

Lacol-lectiva

The lovely Lacol-lectiva has relocated to a new shop in Gracia. As the new space is more 'bijou' the concept is to showcase designers on rotation so there will be new collections every few weeks. With the focus towards independent and local designers, you'll find a great selection of clothes mixed with vintage pieces and beautiful hand made accessories.
